New to Lake Moultrie

i am looking for information for the lake, regards to what area to be careful in for underwater hazards, is their a map of structures or depths , i will be docking on the east side north of the navy short stay… i just do not want to tear the prop off of my boat, any advice will be appreciated, i have never been on the lake before, thanks:sunglasses:
and any location for great top secret super fishing spots would be appreciated as well lol:clown_face:

Stop at Angler's in Moncks Corner. They have lake maps. Hard to explain what you are asking. Short Stay has maps ,too.

Moultrie has plenty of underwater hazzards, especially in the shallows. Maps will give you some of the hazzard areas, but do not mark every stump… Use extreme caution in shallow areas and know you can go from 30ft deep to 3 ft deep in seconds out in the middle…

A bad day fishing is much better than a good day at work.

Moultrie is basically a stump field. Anytime you’re in water less than 6 feet deep you will likely hit stumps.
