New to the area.

Hello fellow anglers,

My name’s Brad and I’m 24. I’m new to the area. I just moved here April 18th. I’m looking to fish, inshore/offshore or pond. The problem right now exists that I don’t know anyone yet. I will probably be delving in the forums on the site a lot more. I’m from a little country town and I am used to doing mostly pond fishing. The bottom line is that I love to fish. I would like to find people that wouldn’t mind taking me along, showing me the ropes of things down here. I am also open to the idea of being a worker of a boat crew if it fits. My main experience has been Bass, Catfish, bluegills, and crappies. I currently reside in Goose Creek near the Cooper River. Unfortunately I can’t drive yet, due to work, I’m in the Navy. I would love to spend my weekends off-base with a line in the water! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Brad.

There are several methods of fishing here. Surf, pier, inshore from a boat, kayak, wading the flats, or offshore with a boat. That is just on the saltwater side of the spectrum. I personally kayak and surf fish with the occasional boat ride with a friend. If I get to head out to the surf I would not mind if you tag along. Where are you from?

I got a fishing pole for my wife…Greatest trade i ever made.

Hey yard, I would love to join ya. I’m from Goose Creek.
