Hello fellow anglers,
My name’s Brad and I’m 24. I’m new to the area. I just moved here April 18th. I’m looking to fish, inshore/offshore or pond. The problem right now exists that I don’t know anyone yet. I will probably be delving in the forums on the site a lot more. I’m from a little country town and I am used to doing mostly pond fishing. The bottom line is that I love to fish. I would like to find people that wouldn’t mind taking me along, showing me the ropes of things down here. I am also open to the idea of being a worker of a boat crew if it fits. My main experience has been Bass, Catfish, bluegills, and crappies. I currently reside in Goose Creek near the Cooper River. Unfortunately I can’t drive yet, due to work, I’m in the Navy. I would love to spend my weekends off-base with a line in the water! Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Brad.

about a chance to fish the Charleston MAD event in Nov this year and
also if you want to venture up to Southport nc you can participate
in that event also!!! It’s all FREE to active duty and reservist.

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

Thanks Gail
I did read the MAD event post a couple weeks back. I would love to attend but I need help getting started right now… I know there’s plenty of good places to fish but I’ve never fished around here and would prefer to have someone to go with. I’m not a beginner by any means. I have a 20" large mouth, 45lb carp, and a 18lb catfish under my belt. Unfortunately I don’t have a vehicle or boat at the time. I may fish Bushy Park Boat landing if need be, but I wouldn’t mind hitting up small ponds, cooper river, or lake moultrie with some company!
