NEW TO THE ATLANTIC POINTERS?!?!

Hey just moved up from the Gulf Coast where fishing seems like heaven. Im a new member at charleston fishing as well as being new to charleston’s atlantic. I do mostly bottom fishing and have tried the east coast out of charleston a couple times already since the move. Sadly nothing but shark which kills my hard on to get something to actually take home. If some of you Vet captains or anybody else can maybe throw me some numbers and/or tips it would be more than appreciated. Its not easy learing new seas. Thanks

When I moved here the first thing I did was to join a Fishing Club. There are a lot of excelent fishermen (Fisherwomen) in the area that would be glad to give you excelent information, They won’t give you any secert numbers, you have to be willing to give in order to receive.
You didn’t say what size boat you had, the best bottom fishing around here unfortuntly is a long run.
Buy a Maps Unique Chart, plug in the numbers, go investigate and post your repourts.

What kind of boat do you have?

Thanks, released.
