Welcome. why not start by sharing some info, like where you fish, type of fishing you do, etc. Lots of guys here have a ton of knowledge, many fish in different ways so there is always someone to help

I have done very little fishing in the last five or six years other than surf fishing at Okracoke on the outerbanks. I did get in a couple of trips to Georgetown last fall. On the second trip the redfish were standing in line to take our bait. Most were 31" to 36", and I managed one that was just over 40". we were fishing the jetties.

Most of the striper fishing that we cover in this section of the board pertains to fresh water (inland) stripers. The guys from Lake Murray (near Columbia) are the most active. I fish at Clarks Hill mostly, and HHI/Bfrt occasionally.
You will might also want to introduce yourself on the other sections of the board, depending on where you plan/hope to fish.
