I got tired of having decide between tying flies and watching the game on the flatscreen. Came up with an idea and had some scrap wood in the garage, so I threw it together.

I made it just wide enough to fit down around the seat cushion, which will help with stability. I was bored, so I even made a recessed holder for cold adult beverages. I think it’s going to work out well. I’ll still have my main desk in the home office, but this will work for any light tying I want to do while watching the tube.

I’m sure the wife won’t be too pleased, but she’ll get over it eventually.

Reaching over to get materials looks like it might be a pain. Or are you just going to snip them off of whatever lives in the cage in the background?

HAHA…that is awsome…when priorities merge it becomes a beautiful thing.

Good on ya. While not fly fishing related, with all the rain over the weekend I ended up doing a little woodwork myself. Had to build a table for my BGE. Made it longer than most plans called for so that it could double as fish cleaning table as well.
