lol…
who’s fishing this wekend?i haven’t decidedif i’m going yet.
not me. i’m taking the wife to charlotte for her birthday. (get out of doghouse points)
i’m sure you are going to bass pro right.you sure stay in the doghouse alot.
well now i know i’m not fishing this weekend i’m working.
I am finally going to work on my boat since PP is not taking me out. I was going to last saturday but was fighting a cold and didn’t think a day out in that weather would have helped it out.
i’ve had some reports that there are some fish mid lake tom.i was wanting to try this weekend but got to work.
Works for suckers. good to hear mid lake fish. I was thinking of that as well. the guy that had the big fish on MSC board about two weeks ago fishes mid lake. I know where he fishes most of the time. I would bet that was where he was.
yea you know who it was and where he caught it.i’ll remember tha work is for suckers when i’m fishing the coast this year and you are working or pulling baits on murray.i’ll be standing in thew surf castingto spanish mackeral and shark fishing with a couple of cold beverages and looking at the eye candy hoping the wife don’t catch me.i can’t wait.
I never said I wasn’t a sucker. I hope to fish the surf some this year. Couldn’t swing it last year with the newborns and all the problems. But they should be ready for the beach this year. You need to teach me how to shark fish. never caught one over 2’.
you’re on buddy.i understand about the family.they come first.
That makes my 35 pounder look like a schoolie
So much water, So little time
looking at your fish i can’t even imagine catching a 73 pound striper, nice fish too busy…
Thanks bait-runner. I caught it with my brother in law 2 years ago and it’s my best fish to date.
More recently, I went out of Rudee Inlet, VA with friends and family on 12/29. We put 11 of 12 in the boat with the smallest at 22# and largest just under 30#.
I have one pack of filets in the freezer that are about 3 inches thick.
So much water, So little time
I want to catch a 30lb striper in my kayak to see if it fights more than my 30lb cat
but i think that 75lber would sink me:smiley:
This photo really shows the overall size of the fish
