new yak......

Got me a kayak…looking forward to enjoying it as often as possible. Live close to Bushypark so I can hit saltwater creeks and fresh water bream and such with ease. Got my feet wet in a yak with best buddy cutmullet and he’s always itching for a paddeling partner to go to new places.
gotta get a new tag line…

Welcome to the yakking world. It is addicting that is for sure! I just picked up two more little yaks for the family (Frenzy and Scrambler XT, both by Ocean Kayak). I live in Goose Creek and hit Bushy mostly, so I may be available to fish with you, and I am sure nikonjedi will as well. Based on the gators I’ve been seeing around Bushy lately, it will be more comforting to have another paddler along!

Let us know what you got, and show pics!

You’re going to love the LL Manta Ray. They’re great paddling boats.

X-man… congrats on the scrambler and frenzy. I looked at the scrambler yesterday and seriously considered it. I just couldn’t quite justify the price. I’m kind of kicking myself tho.

I took them both as a package deal. Between the yaks, seats, paddles, vests, and buggy, I figure I came out alright. The wife and kids will be using the Frenzy and Scrambler (I’m keeping my Scupper Pro for myself)!!

You know how it is hindsight is 20/20. I should have bought the whole kit and caboodle and sold everything I didn’t want. I would have had less in the Scrambler after parting with extras than what I offered Bret for it.

Congrats:wink:
