New Years Day Fish!

Finally finding some time to do some exploring and find some fish since moving up here from Jacksonville! Everyone always says its so similar but I’m finding it very different! Went out New Years day and found some Reds in a creek near the house. Caught 8 in 2 hours all in the 21-23" range. Kept 2 and headed in. No OTW pics because my phone decided to take a swim on the first fish picture!

welcome and nice fish.

I bought one of these so my cell phone can still be used and will remain with me and dry.

Nice fish…congrats!

Welcome! Depending upon how big your phone is, I bought a couple of nice little waterproof phone boxes from Wally World for around $5. They have a lanyard with a clip on them. I just clip them inside the hatch nearest to my seat and pull it out when I need it.

Good job Rob, give a shout sometime and you can go out with me and Zach but it looks like you have to show us where the fish are.

Very nice! Those are some fat fish. Where do you usually put in?

Mostly launch at the Limehouse ramp
