Fished with a friend today. Mid lake with the spoons. Fished the wrong side of the lake and too shallow for the first couple of hours. Finally found a bunch of bait balls and fish when we moved across the lake and fished deeper. Had 1 nice keeper striper along with a few short ones. Also had two big catfish, 3 (released) largemouth and 36 nice perch. Most fish including all of the stripers were between 60’ and 66’ deep… glued to the bottom.
A couple of guys trolled around us several times with a pontoon boat. I’m pretty sure they saw me operating the “fish caller”. They probably thought I was crazy, but we were catching nice fish.
