newbie looking for inshore charter advice

Hello everyone. I am a newbie to the forum, and the lowcountry for that matter. I have a son (knob) at The Citadel. Hoping to do some inshore fishing from time to time. See many charters listed. They all sound great, and probably are. Just trying to figure out which one to choose. Any advice? Fishing party would consist of myself, son, daughter, and wife. All have fishing experience (no flyfishing experience). Would like to connect with someone who can orient me to the area, fishing spots, tackle, bait, technique, etc. Considering buying a boat but have a lot to learn. Thanks!

What company is he in? I’m a 2010 Romeo grad. That being said, I recommend Capt John Fuss with Holy City Fishing Charters. He is StretchArmstrong on this here website. He’s a good friend of mine and taught me a lot of what I know about fishing in the lowcountry. He’s a great guy, very patient with beginners and knows his stuff.

Second on John Fuss with Holy City Fishing Charters, The man flat out catches fish, is a great teacher and knows a lot about the area. I have family come to town a few times a year and they allways want to fish with him rather then me! Hmmmphhh!
