I have mainly fished from a boat my whole like or a canoe but very little from a kayak and I have never fished saltwater from a kayak. I am getting ready to buy a Johnson Big Rig and am looking for insight as to what gear and safety gear I should purchase to be able to safely fish saltwater. My goal is to fish the Charleston jetties. Any help would be appreciated.
