Greetings all! I just joined the kayaking community by purchasing a Wilderness Systems Tarpon 140 w/Rudder: Camo color with angler package (Scotty and 2 flush mounts, anchor)from Timeout in MP. Took her out on the maiden voyage Sunday and I see why people enjoy fishing from yaks. I am interested in meeting up with other kayak fishermen in the Beaufort area. Any helpful tips / suggestions on set ups and what not are appreciated.

I live in Beaufort and do quite a bit of fishing from my yak. I’d like to get up with you and check out the tarpon. I was looking at that one time. I’ve got the pamlico 14.
