Newby taught us a lesson, diving on glass!

Newby Scott took us out on the It’ll Do to learn a little about diving, turns out he was sandbagging us! he was the only one got his limit on Bugs. Master Diver Eric said that was the fastest he had ever seen anyone stuff the bag full of lobster! Eric did teach the sandbagger how to shoot hogs and gags. I took team Elwood (John and Craig) on a training dive and after slowing down a monster gag with a well placed glancing shot Craig missed the mortally wounded gag @ 3" while the apprentenice looked on! Boy, the things I do to train recruits! Awesome day on the water, ocean was flat, temp 76 top to bottom and viz 60’ in 100’ and around 15’ in 85. great day on the water with Scott, Eric ( had awesome lobster and shrimp wraps for lunch) & team Elwood. first day in awhile we were cleaned up before 11pm!

Wilson said he was having a good time, although the face has that sandbag look which he gets honestly!

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

Nice day!

Yea, Scott is a sandbagger. His first 3 dives were as tough as 3 dives could get much less being the first 3. He keeps his cool and that is HUGE is diving. Good times sorry I missed it!

I assume you did not run into this ole gal while you were down there.
Not quite here but she is coming!!

Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!

Nice day.
Scott, that is one cool link!!
Amazing how far she travels in a short period and the path she is on.
Wonder what the food consumption rate is on a shark that big traveling that far.

Nice day. Cool link!

Nice trip!!!

Ed, I use that “Newby” name so you experienced guys will feel sorry for me. I see that it worked for part of the day in order to get a shot into a gag and grab the bugs before Eric caught on to my devious plan of sandbagging! After that, the gloves came off and Eric schooled me on how stick a few fish. I did not see the hog under the rock until i see Eric’s gun go off. He was not going to point out any more fish to me.

We also had a nice battle with a great gag under a deep rock. We tried to even smoke him out until we ran out of time.

Food was awesome, the water was great, and had a wonderful crew. I will be ready to go again soon.

You make it look like you do that every weekend guys, great video and awesome viz!

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

Well done guys? I wish I didn’t have to travel for work Friday or I’d have been out there too.

Nice fish! Scott has been on the fast track to a spearfishing education.
