This was just three days after I headed home, and one of these fellows, the organizer, was my fishing buddy at that time… Argh…

Awesome Story!

So much for being scared of a SC. Alligator:smiley:.

Those guys had deep pocket$ and Big, BALLS!

No doubt… big GIANT brass cahones…

“We don’t have a plan and we’re stickin to it!”

adrenaline rush on doubt.
Yakonthefly will you sign up for a shark fishing trip next year.

Bluefish,

Not as deep of pockets as you might expect. Deep Sea Shark Trips there go for about $450.00 per person for a full day (A three day, which they did is only about $2000.00), and a round trip from Hotlanta when booked in the winter is only around $550.00.

I spent two weeks in Alaska, and spent for three halibut charters (Two of them were to get shuttled to the Island to fish, so really only one Halibut Charter) and my whole vacation was only $2500.00 for two weeks.

I am planning a trip for up to 15 people next year to the same area, total cost less than $2000.00 per person is what I am aiming for.

Shallowskiff,
I won’t sign up for one, but I might just kayak to where they are and give it a try… Less than 2 miles from the cabin I was camping at! Of course, I would need to upgrade my equipment… My Penn 320 is probably not enough reel, and the three piece travel rod I have likely not enough rod.

Those who can’t fish, spend too much on seafood!
