Pending participation and feed back we will try to meet in June for our next meeting. For the last few meetings turn out as been poor and no body wants to participate in club tourneys and outings. Just let me know if any of you guys still want the club to continue or put it dead to rest. Feed back is appreciated and hopefully the club will continue. Thanks in advance
Sloan and I are in. When/Where is the next meeting?

I am taking the family out king fishing this saturday. Will likely spend friday night in Charleston. Is Comanche/Y73/100 ft still the most likely spot, or has anyone caught something in closer?
Anyone wanting to buddy boat let me know.
Also planning on going to the ledge/banks on Tuesday.

heading out tomorrow Friday to king fish I will keep you and every body informed.
Took family out Saturday. Got a net full of menhanden in Shem creek. Trolled around jetties, nearshore reef, and a few minutes out at capers. No kings, Son got to fight a shark for a few mins before we released it.
Going again tommorow Tuesday, thinking about going to Y73/Comanche area. Will report back.
Best Wishes

My son and I went out alone on Tuesday fishing. The afternoon weather forecast kept us from running as far out as Comanche / Y73 which was our original plan. Menhanden were plentiful inside the jetties.
The shrimp boat that was working close to the jetties had about 20 porpoises behind it so we started at the Charleston 60, didnt give away a bait or mark anything to speak of on sonar, so after a couple hours we went to The Shady Grady area, had one strike there mid morning that cut the center out of a good sized menhanden and left us holding the head and tail with hooks still intact. Tried the low country reef and saw nothing going there.
Finally ended the day trolling off folly beach.
My son caught a large spanish mackeral just before we got to the pier and we had a ribbonfish cut in half. That about covers it. Overcast day, calm, no sign of schooling kings, spanish, or baitfish off the beach on Tuesday.
Its got to be about time for the schools to show up.
Best Wishes
