I’ll be out on the water in MI for a week starting tomorrow. Anyone want to link up to try and track down some fish or a beer shoot me a msg. Got room in the boat for one or two or can catch up with you out on the water. Usually target reds trout flatties or mess around at the jetties with the Spanish/sharks etc. depending on water or head over to MI on a sight-seeing trip of the elusive flat-bellied split-tail.
Fished a few times. Creeks along mainland MI are full of shrimp, Haden, and mullet. Caught some keeper flounder back there on rising tide all on finger mullet. Fished some oyster beds heading towards the channel and picked up some slot reds and keeper black drum on rising tide cut mullet. Caught some small flounder on trout tricks off the dock on s Waccamaw and a 10 lb black drum on cut shrimp at high tide. Reds on cut mullet low tide. Hit the jetties Saturday and caught several 32" reds on cut mullet right after tide started coming in - Carolina rigged fluorocarbon leader about 100 yards from the inside tip of the north jetty.
