Anyone have an opinion of which days would be best next week, in case I can swing a short fishing trip? I was thinking Mon/Tues because the high tides are a little earlier in the afternoon and maybe could fish incoming, high and outgoing. With gas up I’ve got to make these trips worthwhile.

I saw in the paper that the High Tuesday afternoon is supposed to be 6.6… sounds like a perfect wading the flats tide…
Paddle faster boys… I hear banjo music!
flats, if I do make it down, you are welcome to join us. I’m planning on bringing Jordan with me, she thinks it’s cool we can walk around out there. That and it’s been a while since she and I spent anytime fishing together. Will keep you posted.

sounds good. I’ll be taking notes. Looks like I’m going to have a houseful of girls too

Be careful of the snails if you wade. DD got a nice case of snail itch about 3 weeks ago from their larvae.
I don’t fear the Ocean, but it sure as hell has earned my respect!

Hey Cub Man . Your best bet is going to be Sunday night. Monday and Tuesday will also be solid but the tides will be starting to get too big which means the flats flood alot quicker and the fish move on/off alot quicker.
TB, that is exactly the kind of advice I was looking for. I’m still trying to judge what is a good tailing tide since I’m not there enough to have many reference points.

A houseful of girls is not the worst that could happen to us ! Just wait until they start getting older and the harmones (sp?) start flowing, that’s when you start spending a lot more time with the dog.
