Been fishing the past few days.
Sunday: Had a family trip on the water, so it was more relaxed than usual. Floated live shrimp and mullet in Town Creek and ended up with some small reds and one very nice trout. Also caught the usual suspects of trash fish. All released.
Monday: Had a great day out. Started picking up some bait including fiddlers. Went to a dock and caught two black drum, one sheepshead, and two slot sized redfish. After that moved to another creek in search of reds, and ended up catching several very small reds and one 20". Moved to another spot and boated an 18" flounder. Seeking the slam, we moved back to Town in search of trout. No trout, but several more small reds and one quite large shark which cut us off after a sleigh ride (we sent the first pinfish we caught out behind the boat on a shark rod for entertainment). Hit one more dock on the way home and got another black drum. All fish released, except the flounder because he was too delicious looking to set loose. Bait was everywhere, and all fish caught within 2 hours of low tide on either side.
