Made it to 45 feet today and man the fog was thick as can be, ALL day and even thicker on the way back in. thank god for GPS.
BSB were not near as big as last two weeks but plentiful. Almost managed two limits of keepers with a decent one mixed in here and there, Ringtails and 18" Grouper. Seen some sheepies caught by others
Water was GREAT though. 25 Knots on way out (foggy) and 33 knots back in, (even foggier.) Great day on the water.

I was in the Stono at 5 today… it was too thick to be running faster than 15 knots… tide was a ***** too…
dirty boots are on - hi di ho
vis was probably 100-200 ft at times in the harbor in the AM with people still running 20-30 knts…could not see but half way up to the bridge road bed, couldn’t even tell there was a bridge at all…unbelievable…
Radar or no radar that is very unnerving,i could never do that for a living…
heard of sea tow responding to a grounding on the way in…no surprise…

Ken,
Did you go to 99/100 or did you try to find 96? When the weather cooperates the drift is best. Congrats though! If I would have been with ya I am sure we could have limited. Hopefully next time.
I was out there with Shawn and Craig. Fished next to you for a while. I agree the fog was thick as ever but worse on the way in. We got rained on but it was not bad. We musta caught 200 fish a few sheepies thrown in from Craig and his nice hook set touch. Only about ten keepers though. Shawn pulled up two grouper. short though. Wish we could of found those ARS again. Anyway hope to see ya out again…

Indeed, you miseed a good ocean, wish we would have had the boys.
As for drift. there was practically no drift at all, no tide or wind. The tide obviously picked up but the wind never did.
As for numbers, we started on 97, could not get baack to it, moved to 96, small fish. Finally went to 99/100 and better quality fish but not like we had the week before. Anchored on 96 and was on the spot. Let some other Sea FOx tie up to us since he had his boy with him. Young man was catchinem, catchinem.
Fast cheap ride out though.
Lets get together.

Saw you out there. My son and I were anchored at the bridge rubble. Caught as many CBass as we wanted. The best was on a #14 sabiki, pulling up 5 at a time. Lots of short 10 - 12" fish. I only landed 1 fish that met my 14" CBass minimum (otherwise all cleaning and no meat). Return trip in was tough with the fog. Couldn’t use sun to get a fix on your position. Had to go old school and use compass to navigate (along with GPS). Still, fun day with my son pulling in 20+ fish.
