weather looked ify at 5am but the report was supposed to get better and better, 6am at Folly had it blowing @ 6kts. rolled out on confused seas running into the sea but it payed off. weather turned out fantastic, by 10:30 it was flat calm. didn’ fish much and hit the bottom for some meat. first dive produced a few nice bugs and a few good hogfish.
we dropped marvin and joe in the sand to keep them from catching up. rolled to another spot and marvin and joe took up the slack and put a nice gag and flounder in the box.
realfish01 and i caught a few slippers and a pair of alantic sharpnose kept us company on our deco stop and we had to keep poking them with our spearguns to fend them off, they must like slippers!bottom temp is a far improvment from last week @ 72 now (68 last week) viz about 15/30’ depending were u were at. had a great day aboard off limits with marvin, joe and eric with a 31kt ride in.
If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.
