thought the viz would be bad after the storm so broke out the pin fish and headed out. awesome day on the water the weather was picture perfect. marvin, son zack, megabite, jordan and capt.eric and mysealf had a great day. frist stop produced 6 man limit of very nice beeliners, a bunch of triggers and some huge bsb’s. headed out deeper and frist few fish in the boat were nice scamps. picked at them all day and ended up with 9 grouper,a cobia and a box full of bottom dwellers. lots of meat today with a great crew, cooperative fish and hoping the weather will straighten out so we can get back to doing what we do best!
It was truly a good day and you forgot to add that the one butterfly jig produced the cobia, a grouper, the lion fish, the biggest BSB, and a kingfish. I can’t wait until I get my bass jig fixed so that I can get in on the action. Pinfish were certainly the bait of the day second to the butterfly jig. That picture of the fish doesn’t do the catch any justice. I slow cooked the kitty mitchels on the grill today for almost an hour on low heat after marinading them for 4 hours and it was awesome. The grouper was the first thing gone from the spread at the cook out today… Let me know how the lionfish turns out.

Scott, we put the camera down at several depths. We estimated that it was 20’ at 90-110’ and worse deeper but probably due to cloud cover. Should be decent next weekend if Katia pushes far enough offshore.
