Went throught the jetties at 25 knots at 4 am all the way to the ledge. Lots of bait and mahi but they only bit one at a time. We ended the day with 14 keepers, just meat fish. Saw some awesome sites. A mako left the water and slammed down on a mexican flag on the flat line (it must have been american mako). Also saw a school of porpoises feeding on a ball of cobia . awesome sight watching the dolphin work together to keep the ball tight and feed one at a time. Also had a day maker 50+ wahoo grab a flat line and shake his head for what seemed like minutes frothing the water before making his run and cutting the floral carbon. 35 mph ride in for a great day.

I saw a tree floating down the stream a few years ago and saw the same thing. Exept it was dolphin. It was cool how they coralled them and took turns eating. A Jordan print for sure.
BTW none of the fish were eating anything we threw at them. They were way spooked.
Bug Catcher, did Jimmy fish with you?
i have no call to tell sea stories, we had 3 other people on the boat & we were all amazed to watch each dolphin take turns come up through the ball and smash one or two like a great white. we didnt see any actually swallowed. they were about 5/7lbs, they may have been just playing with them! my spelling is not that great, fishhawk, im just a hunter gatherer sharing some awesome sights with folks. another site my be more appropriate for the high society type. none of the fish i have ever cleaned seemed to care about my grammar.greydog jim got the kitchen pass to go along.
