Left at 4am and put lines in at 150ft and nothing until we hit 300ft. Caught a couple and pushed out to the 380 where we caught 2 more. Decided to try the ledge where we found 1 more. Hot color seemed to be pink but could not find a nice weed line or any numbers on the dolphin today but my 6 year old caught his first dolphin which would have been worth the trip without catching anything else. Interested to see how some of the boats that went north did today. Hopefully next weekend will be nice and we can find more fish. Did have a flying fish smack my friend standing beside me in the face on the way out.
You didn’t laugh at your friend when it happened did you:smiley:
That’s awesome that you got your son his first dolphin! I’m almost ready to take my son… he is nine but has had some motion sickness in his past. Nice Panthers visor
I had to laugh but did not believe that it was a flying fish until we found it on the boat. Go Panthers. Ready for another season.
Awesome for the little one!

Way to go guys. So happy you had a successful day. Glad that he got to go with you guys, and to top it off . . . . got to reel one in!! How exciting. I’ve had that hit from a flying fish once before too. You never know with those suckers!! We’ll get out there soon when I’m done with this trip.
