Headed out to the intracoastal waterway today with pinkfisher. Got out there around 9am and it was in the high 60s with the water temp at 65. Took awhile to find some finger mullet but we managed a few dozen. Water visibility was at least 3 to 4 feet. Caught a small 8 inch bsb, 14 inch red, 12 inch flounder, and 19 inch flounder. Had another flounder on a gulp shrimp that got off and it had some size to it. Caught everything else on finger mullet. Had some hits on a trout trick but didn’t catch any trout.

Lol I was waiting for someone to mention the registration. Yes you do. Its easier than what people make it out to be. Took me a total of 5 minutes but I did have to drive to John’s island. I only paid $80 for the water snake salt water 18lb thrust motor. I paid $65 for the 24 series 660cca deep cycle marine battery. Its over kill cause I’ve went 8 miles without using half the battery but I figured I would rather be safe than sorry. I used a piece of 3 foot galvanized steel frame from lowes for $10 for the motor mount. I just screwed it in the provided threads on my kayak. Whole setup was $200 and very worth it. I only hit max speeds of about 3mph but it sure beats paddling and I cover more ground and catch more fish.

Hope you get feeling better! I wasn’t planning on going out until tuesday anyway. I’m free weekend after next and I’ll probably be fishing with JP behind sullivans island if you want to go.
