rode out on a 2’ 3 sec SE this morning, bumpy but ok! lines in at the ledge and trolled out to the 226. came up on a log with 3 triple tails & a small school of slingers, no takers. saw another log with a single triple tail, again no luck!water was very warm,79.9 so headed down to 220’ of the e. banks. caught our frist fish at 11:45 then caught 4 more in the next 45min. after that, nada. great ride in wide open! caught fish in 77.3deg. nice day on the water with auggie dog, capt. jimmey & dolphin boy, (butcher boy). the phins were 15 to 20lbs.

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

Heard you talking about the fish under the logs on the radio. If you had the Butcher Boy with you, I seen him at the landing.

Have you ever tried throwing a net on them?
I’ve been on a couple charters out of Florida try it, but I never saw them be successful.

Hey man just got back into port today, going to be home for a few days I’ll give you a call but it looks like I’ll be leaving for Trinidad towards the middle of the week.
