Someone please tell this newbie what an ABS and beeliner are.

ABS is a type of polymer material commonly used in waste plumbing. ARS is American Red Snapper. Very good food quality and they grow to over 30 lbs. Beeliners are vermillion snapper - a very tasty and pretty fish that grow to 6 lbs. The name came from some head boat captains that called them basket liners back in the day when each customer was issued a basket to fill with fish. This degenerated to slang - Bliners

Duh on me. I meant ARS. I used to use ABS pipe when I was a pipefitter years ago. Thanks for the reply. I only knew ARS as Atlanta Rhythm Section, a great band from my younger days.

I thought the Atlanta Rhythm Section was the area near Jimmy Carter Blvd on the north side

If you ever fished the clipper, they’re bliners.

Man, I miss that ol boat! Used to catch some fish on the Clipper.

Your arse! No kidding? Had many “team building” trips on that boat. I always fought to fish out the back. I used to laugh my tail off watching two individuals from opposite sides snag each other.
