For a few years now I have seen several videos about these green fishing lights and alleged great results. Does anyone have any experience with the green fishing lights or night fishing in general on these tidal creeks and rivers?

I have used them to crappie fish in fresh water (they work) but have not tried them in salt. Just don’t really have the opportunity to fish salt at night.

Gentlemen, thanks for sharing your experience with the lights, it is encouraging. I bought one of the four foot lights about three years ago and went out once with it but got eaten alive by the mosquitos (seems as though they like green lights too) and since then I’ve been reticent to venture out into the creeks with it. Last summer I had my first experience with skin cancer and the doc’s told me to avoid the sun for two years, so I’ve been thinking again about the green light and fishing at night to be able to feed my addiction. Now I guess I just need to figure out how to keep the skeeters at bay.

I have had good results fishing at night with just shop lights mounted around the boat. If you sit there long enough the bait congregates to the light. Where there is bait there are usually fish, if they are hungry.
Tallman! Lets stake out a dock and set up the lights.I can get batteries.

I’d be all over that idea… I have batteries as well, PM me and we’ll set it up and go!
