Any suggestions on where to fish? Wando or Cooper. Looking to take my dad out and find some dock lights to fish around. He can’t take the heat. Any help would be appreciated. BTW reds and trout are what we are looking for.

I know where to go for fishing during the day. Never went night fishing here. He will be here tonight so no time to scout Lawman.

I know a lot of the docks on DI across from the shipping port have lights. I pulled some trout and bluefish on top water from those docks last fall. Haven’t been there since, but I imagine there will definitely be some trout around. Not sure about reds but I bet they will be hanging out around the dock structure with the low tide tonight. I’d try throwing top water, Zman Paddlerz, Zman Minnowz, or Zman shrimp with pro cure or live bait of that is what you are planning on using. Hope you tear them up!

sorry allen, i didn’t see that you already had the light part figured out.
Nighttime, lit docks, I like throwing something with flash. Chrome rattle traps and chrome jerkbaits thrown in the lit areas works.
Find a good oyster bar with a couple feet of water over it. Use live finger mullet on a popping cork. Go on a clear night and use the moon light. I caught my biggest trout and red at night. Don’t have to limit yourself to just docks with lights. Good luck!
