How bad will the fishing be if there are NNE winds?
it shouldn’t be too bad if you fish underwater.
sorry, couldn’t resist… seriously though, i’m not trying to diminish your enthusiasm- there will be fish for you to catch.
regarding your question, in general it should have more to do with the strength and duration of the wind and how much it drops the water temp as this front goes by and we transition to more of a december-style forecast. if the water drops to 55 or below again, look for trout action to slow or almost stop, and the redfish to be a lot more finicky. fish will still feed though, especially on afternoons when it’s calm and sunny, especially if there’s a low tide too. cut bait sitting on the bottom under docks or around oysters, or very slow presentation of a doa or gold spoon out on the flats.
