No duck commanders in Charleston

where are the duck reports?? Im still in search of my elusive bufflehead!

Killed 7 this morning along with some bluebills near Edisto

G. perry pickering

Just go In the Kiawah. Gazillions of buffleheads

killed 192 ducks since the start of the first split

“When i was young they tried to flush me down the toilet because they already knew i was the ****!”

“Run run run as fast as you can you cant catch me im the prodrive man!”

Shutout last two trips in midlands. Saw fair amount of birds two weeks ago but all way high and not looking. Only seen 3 divers once.:imp: Mallards and blacks and a few gadwalls around.

Only peeps I know killing any duck had done it near the coast unless you get in on an impoundment somewhere.

Far as reports you know how it goes - duck holes are more top secret than shrimp holes!:smiley::smiley:

Im beginning to see this! Got one ringneck drake this morning

People that kill ducks locally do not put it on the interweb, it’s a small state.

well i have been helped by people on here for fishin and I enjoy learing and hearing peoples success. If im the only one that will post the same for duck hunting so be it.

I wasn’t trying to be rude. There are limited resources for public hunting in this state. I hunt a lot of private now, and there’s a reason. I quit even getting my cup of coffee at a gas station near our place because people would see me, and knew where I was hunting. They’d line the banks below our marsh.

It’s like inshore fishing near Charleston now, it’s just (**()ed stressful. I fished my last time down there a few months back, and I probably will not get near it again.

Pull up to dern near anywhere in the Santee system and see what it’s like on a weekend trying to hunt public.
