just pulled my chrysler motor out o work on it again…i got it turning over but i dont think its getting fire.any suggestions what it could be???
I had a Chrysler motor on an old Marquis. I liked the boat after I got it a Johnson and used the Chrysler as a back-up anchor.

lmao.i feel you on that Big Wes…actually i got it to turn over and fire up yesterday then it cut off within 5 seconds…ima try again today…im no mechanic.but if i can pull it out of storage and get it to turn over…next fire up…i think i might be on the right course.i had to shorten the gap in the plugs yesterday and then thats when it fired up…
did the plugs fowl out after you closed the gap on the spark plugs?

actually they were open to much so i closed them some and thats when i got fire…it ran for a few sec and died out
naw that is something i havnt checked chris.im about to say for get it and let craiglist have at it…lmao…parts for somebody…i have 2 good motors anyways.i just really wanted to try get that one fix.i will check that last thing Chris
