Went out to E. Banks this this past Saturday. We trolled n trolled. 1 fish for the day. As I am still relatively new at this I was wondering is the season winding down? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
You are correct. The season is winding down. Dolphin are normally found in good numbers from mid April to about the first week of June. There are scattered Dolphin year round. Right now there are lots of schoolies is under the big weed mats. Fun to catch on spinning gear and toss back to grow bigger. If you keep any, make sure they are at least 20" to be legal. Check the regs.

I wouldn’t say it always shuts down the first week of June, but it’s definitely been like that this year and last. We’ve had seasons where it was pretty good all through June.
Thanks for the input. Guess I’ll start focusing on the Bottom fishing from here on out.
