Caught two trout this morning and saw a bunch of small drum on the flats I was fishing they just weren’t into my offerings. I chucked a spoon, curltailed grub in chart. and a DOA penny colored shrimp. Tried every speed slow/fast/drift, etc. and no takers. The trout were caught on the grub. Lots of fun and great weather this morning. I had fun and it felt good to be out on the water. Gotta figure out this redfish thing though.

Nice trout. Those reds can be finicky! Keep at it and I’m sure your luck will change.

Try throwing Zman bad shad color with 1/8 oz. jig head. Having lots of luck with them & the reds. 3 today all ranging from 4.5lbs to 8lbs. When u fish it throw it out & and start messing with something else, usually works for me.
