No spot red fish

Well this is a first in my boat. After fishing the lowcounty for 45 years this is the first
No spot red to be caught for any boat i have fished.
Ended the day with 6 flounder and 5reds.

That is very odd. Any intel on the flounder? I haven’t been catching them on mm on the bottom in my usual spots lately but it seems others are catching them regularly now.

They seem to be in areas adjacent to flats that

My fiancee caught one last year – I didn’t even notice until I looked at the picture that we took! I guess there could have been a spot on the other side, but I feel like that might be even less likely.

It’s spot fell off cuz you’re holding it upside down.

Good picture! Spotless is the first for me.

Congrats on the fish. On the flouder intel, I caught two on Saturday from the kayak using Trout Trick. I swear I catch more flounder on the TT than I do trout. Both were caught near docks. Cast underneath and work back towards yak. Hope to get back out there tomorrow.

On the rare occasion that I catch a flattie, it is usually on a TT. How do you get your hat to stay on like that.

That’s actually my buddy Gene. He reeled it in. I think he got the hat a little out of balance removing the hook.

you was in Australia??

Cool deal, nice fish,I’ve had a few Spotless-tail bass … I also had one with over 100 …that was really something to see,…Too bad the photo of it went to the bottom with the phone it was on!

Cool! I like the super secret technology to keep people from seeing your spot. One day last year late summer/early fall we were slaying the redfish in this creek… I mean every cast was a fish. As many fish as you could reel in. With some flatties and trout mixed in. All slot and slightly over slot fish. We boated 4 reds that day with no spots, and 5 or 6 with only one spot. Strange…
