Braved the wind with Ray yesterday and stalked my flat. This flat is hit or miss with the fish, and yesterday it was a miss. We saw no activity. Don’t know unless you try… I’m blaming the wind/front/<1000mb pressure, etc.
Still good to kick off the 2010 tailing season. I’m still looking forward to my first. Not of 2010… first Ever
After sunset the wind died down and we moved to out to the creek. Ray hooked a nice trout on DOA. I’d estimate it at around 18". I realized I had no net on board! Grabbed the boga, but I couldnt see well enough to find its mouth. Last resort, random grabbing. Lost it
