No Wind on The Wando

Decided to take advantage of the forecast and actual light wind conditions this weekend and find some reds on the flats on the Wando. Fished Sunday morning on both sides of the low tide, water temps varied from 50-55F and visibility was great due to the smallish tide change. I cruised several miles of shoreline and ended up catching all of my fish up a couple of smaller creeks. Fish were hanging out at the base of oyster rakes in the smaller creeks near deeper water. Unlike just a week before, I did not find any big schools but did see fish almost everywhere I fished. I ended up with 5 reds all in the slot with a zman redbone jerk shadz soft plastic rigged on a 1/4 oz jig head. Most of the bites were on the first drop, but a couple were after working the bait very slowly on the bottom.

thanks for the report
