Went to our favorite spot in north Bull’s Bay this morning, low tide was @ 7:29.
Started shrimping @ 8:15. After 2 hours, we had 1, one, ONE shrimp which we released to grow bigger. It is a bad day when one catches more bait balls that shrimp. Lots of boats out there but the reports were very sparse for those we talked to.
Pulled our poles and explored the area, winding up near Bull’s River.
Put out one test pole and caught 2 dozen shrimp on 2 casts. Put out the other 9 poles, baited and started shrimping @ 11:15. We wound up with a quarter cooler then the current stopped. The size was mixed, mostly mediums.
As always, we enjoyed being on the water and had a few meals to eat later.
