Has anyone else heard if the stripers are running yet at the Outer Banks? I have heard they are starting to show up around Manns Harbor. Want to confirm before making a run up there.
Manns Harbor is the small sound stripers. I think you want the large ocean stripers.Check out customsoundcharters.com for daily reports for ocean stripers. Dont go when the stripers are only in the breakers in or shoals of Oregon Inlet. That is some uncomfortable fishing. Wait until the fish are schooled up just off the beaches.
AMEN on the shoals, been there, done that!!! But it was fun. Hang on with one hand, and fish with the other. There are a few reports of fish up near Kill Devil Hills.
