Any suggestions on best spots on the Davidson in North Carolina?

I’ve been all over that river but it’s been about 4-5 years since I was there. Near the hatchery is a sure thing but those fish are tough and require long light leaders and small midge patterns from what I remember. The exciting thing is that you can hook a monster in there. If that’s not your speed, there are quite a few smaller mountain streams that have less picky fish. I’m headed to the nantahala in mid April this year. Good luck!
