North Carolina

Well we by pasted Myrtle Beach , wound up in N.C. at Bogue inlet pier the first day wife caught 16 in black drum

. I believe this place to be pin fish capital of the world . So we moved on to surf fishing at Fort Macon ,N. C. I caught a decent red.

. I had a rod set up with 50lb braid with a live pin fish it started screaming , fought it a min or two and it popped the line. Set it out again and walked away (wrong thing to do) the drag was loose . I turned around and it was on the way down . By the time I could get to it . It was gone . While we were looking out and scratching our heads in disbelief. The fish came out of the water 3 times he seemed mad as all get out .but we weren’t able to identify it
