Last weekend I went shark fishing in the North Edisto and discovered a great Atlantic Sharpnose Shark bite. I went out on saturday at 8:00 a.m. with an outgoing tide to the sandbar in the mouth of the river. I backed of back into the river a few hundred yards and anchored in about 40’ of water. I put a few lines out with dead finger mullet on bottom rigs and in an hour we had three sharks. The next day we went out again at the same time using the same tactics and had three 36 in sharks in the boat at 9:30 a.m. It was really easy and fun and we were back before lunch.
