i figured no call = no cooler, that sucks!!
Talked to several folks that shrimped up river. There were plenty of shrimp. All the size of AAA batteries. I know one fellow that coolered and he said that he wish he hadn’t. Took him and his partner 4.5 hours to head them. Not me.

dad’s catching good creek shrimp on JI now, father in law got 5 gals free casting yesterday but said the same about size. just hoping they grow up and move down without flushing!

Bait is what it was too, the wife and I saw plenty of the aaa size shrimp jumping and on the bait. We finally gave up with MAYBE 60 decent sized shrimp. We saw everyone else leave and thought it was odd. Now we know why.

Nephew went last night in Wadmalaw Sound. Stayed 7 hrs. got almost a full cooler, mixed size, small and very small. Should be good in a month if we don’t get any gully washers and run em all out
You can’t catch fish on a dry line
I heard Carolina Seafood in mcclellanville has some nice ones ;). All I can find are small ones… Three throws today and I had to use a dust pan to toss a bunch over after filling my two minnow buckets full…all the size of little firecrackers.

Got maybe 6-8 qts of decent sized, threw back 2x as many because they were small. I use a 5/8 net and I could see clouds of tiny shrimp passing through and popping on the surface.
I think I am going to wait another month.
