North of Edisto Banks 5-31

Decided to take advantage of the calm winds and catch some dolphin. RWL and I fished from 190 feet to 300 feet and caught most fish around 215’ around scattered weed. The blue & white colors were the ticket as all but one hit came from them. We ended the day with 5 phins from 11-18 lbs. Lost 3 due to pulled hooks. One of the pulled hooks was a nice fish 25-30lbs. just off the stern. Disapointing. Not bad for a bay boat. The weather was perfect, drank wheat sodas all the way in and didn’t spill a drop.

nice haul for a weekday. The turbo must have been afloat. Call me next time and I’ll bring a vintage diamonds shirt. Better yet, grab RWL and we’ll go get some new ones from the industrial debutante scene.
