Northern GA/Tocca falls

Im going to northern Ga this weekend and will be in the tocca falls area, I will be going one day guided one day not, has anyone ever fished this area, have any tips for my unguided day?

They had a article in eastern flyfisherman about the taccoa river seems like there is some good stuff going on there. Never personally fished it but if I remember right they mentioned its a great dryfly fishery.

Are you fishing the Toccoa River? If so floating it is the best way to go as there is very little public access. Also there is a flyshop in Blueridge called Unicoi Outfitters (they can point you in the right direction concerning what’s working and where to go when you’re not being guided.

If you want some more specific details let me know (fished in that area quite a bit over the last couple of years).
