it stirs things up and dirtys the water. The fish don’t feed well if they can’t see - and they wander off the reefs. You wouldn’t want to swim next to a rock in rough water.
Was at PI 11 last Sunday. Nothing but small Black Bass. Some where close,but just not close enough. There was a school of 5 large Kings or Cudas hanging around the buoy marker. They just wouldn’t bite. Water was murkey at best. Irene messed it up pretty good. Will try them again this weekend. Georgetown Jetties this time.
