Hey Guys!
A quick note to share some news - I have taken a new job and First Mate Renee and I are moving the Yamahammer to Vero Beach Florida in late June.
I say “See Ya’ Later” rather than “Goodbye” because we intend to retire back up here on Lake Murray when the time comes.
Have enjoyed being a member of MSC for over 10 years - and the many friendships formed. When we first moved to Chapin, I attended a striper fishing seminar at the old Boaters World store on Harbison put on by Capt. Mike Glover. In addition to all the good information Capt. Mike presented, was a recommendation to join the Midlands Striper Club. That sure was good advice! MSC is slap full of great fishermen and even better people. The fellowship and willingness to share information in the club is second to none.
The club support of DNR projects in my mind places MSC at the top of the heap! I am proud of the contributions MSA has made to help the SCDNR hatchery guys maintain great striped bass fisheries throughout the state. Funding is tough for fisheries programs and the contributions we provide make a difference. The work we do to support the hatchery is important to me. I don’t care to brag on myself much, but with the backing of MSC I am proud to have collected over $13,000 in cash and merchandise donations for the DNR Benefit tournaments through the years. I truly hope we can keep the Captain’s Watch tradition going.
Good fishin! I am going to miss y’all!
See Ya’ Later!
