Not Much to Report...Bushy Park 11-18-11

Picked Horry up from the groomers at about 12:30…Had the boat hooked up when I went and got him…hauled over to Bushy Park, launched, and high tailed it down the Cooper River to the North Entrance to Clouter Creek…Time I got set up and ready to fish, the tide had just started to turn to go out…Water temp was 62 degrees and the water was Clear being it was the end of the incoming and start of the outgoing…Water got a little more dirty has the tide droped out of the grass!!..Wind was kickin out of the NE @ about 15kts…

my boy, Horry, all cleaned up and somewhere to go!!..Fishing!!!
The fishing was VERY SLOW today…the bite wasn’t on for me!!..While trying to get a fish to bite…My friends showed up and Horry wasn’t Happy!!!..He was ready to eat them

…the pelicans finally figured out I wasn’t going to feed them and I guess they got tired of Horry’s bark and flew off…I trolled around the shore line and with the tide now about 1/3 of the way out and almost out of the grass…Bam fish on…little trout…a few more cast later…Bam…another small trout…that was it on the trout…With the sun coming down about 4:15 or so…I headed back towards Bushy Park and stopped at my little secret spot and caught a little Red about 17/18 inches…(wasn’t measuring them today)…both the trout were caught on sapphire shine gulp jerk shad and the red caught on pearl white gulp jerk shad!!..All 3 fish took on arties today…All fish were released to GROW up and fight another day  …Here are the trout and Red!!
