Not So Special Sunday

Nothing Special, but somebody needs to report. Got a late start to try to let it warm up a little. Got to wappoo cut around 10:00 and there were only 2 trailers in the parking lot. Got the boat in and water temp was 46 degrees. Wind was blowing out of the west pretty good, but the ocean was not bad. Had the curtains up and about 10 layers of clothes on. Went out to a piece of bottom in 70’ and caught a bunch of seabass. Nothing special, no monsters, and nothing but seabass. No grouper, no snapper, no ringtails, no grunts, no porgies, no sharks - just average size seabass. Caught most on squid, but caught some on jigs. We never saw another boat all day and no chatter on the radio - kind of wierd.

Fried seabass dinner will be good tonight!

I was hoping for the same. Apparently I OD’d on NyQuil and spent the day on the couch. Wish I had a few cbass for dinner though.

Screw the sea bass what did the bud light hit?

If you can’t fix it with a hammer, you’ve got an electrical problem.

LOL Funny you should ask. I think that may have been the cause for me relaxing my judgement and allowing my 12 year old to drive the boat on the trailer with the tide ripping at wappoo.[:0] He did a fine job and got it on the first try.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.
