This happened to me when I was a kid (although I didn’t get yanked around like this poor kid). I have no tolerance for such dogs. Bullet. Dumpster. Done.
I have little tolerance for cats. This cat, however, is awesome.

no use for cats or the owners that think it is OK to let them roam the neighborhood, but no problem my trap catches them and animal control picks them up the same day

If you have an inside cat, that you can train to be outside, while keeping to his boundaries, then you have an awesome pet. Cats and dogs are vastly different, and they are both awesome. Believe it or not, but I think cats bond better with their owners. I think they are vastly different when it comes to smarts. A cat would never get into and chew up some of the things our dogs has…a razor blade, an insulin needle, an ink pen just to name a few. I guess you could say he was intelligent enough to paw open the trash, and dig these items out, but I dont know. I think dogs think with their stomachs and balls more than Cats. Our cat knows where his food is, and eats just what he needs. He is able to go outside for hours and sit by the door until we let him back in. The dumb dog sometimes runs off and we have to track him down…I dunno…you be the judge. I have had plenty of both, and dogs are mans best friend…Maybe have the best nose, but I’m not sure about the smartest. JMHO.

Just a cat being an a-hole at the right time for once…
